A few things you might wonder

Does my child need to write independently?

No. They can dictate, draw or ask for help. Their answer still belongs to them.

Is this only for parents?

Do we have to complete it every day?

No. Start with one page or one question, and return whenever you have time together.

What do we need?

The book and a pen or pencil. Crayons are welcome for drawings. Avoid markers, felt-tip pens and paint that can soak through the paper.

About the author

Soren Kirkley writes books that give two people a reason to sit down together.

He is the son of a schoolteacher and a professor, a brother, an uncle, a father of twin daughters, and a Christian, like his whole family. He wrote the first version of I Want You to Know Me for his own daughters, after noticing how much he had never thought to ask them — and how much they had never thought to ask him.

The Together Pages is the imprint he publishes it under.
